This board offers the versatility of a combination cutting and serving board. With a width of 14 inches—2.5 inches wider than our signature large cutting board—it features decorative curved ends, enhancing its appeal as a serving piece. Made exclusively from hardwoods with a food-safe, closed-cell structure, the primary wood used is Hard Maple, complemented by accent woods such as Walnut, Cherry, and Padauk.
 
Each hardwood strip is cut, turned on its edge, and glued together using food-grade, waterproof adhesive, creating a sturdy edge-grain surface on the board's top and bottom. This construction results in a highly stable board, significantly reducing the risk of warping. Additionally, edge-grain boards are gentler on knife edges compared to face-grain boards.
No stains are used; the colors are the natural hues of each wood species. The board is finished with a food-grade mineral oil bath, followed by a hand-rubbed wood balm made of mineral oil and beeswax.
